How to choose a stock
GSM is the weight of the paper, not its quality. 300 GSM is the working minimum for a visiting card; 350 GSM is what most people mean when they say a card feels substantial. Above 400 GSM the card starts to resist folding, which matters for tags but not for cards.
Uncoated and cotton stocks take ink softly and cannot carry a high-gloss finish. If your artwork depends on deep saturated blacks, pick a coated stock and a rich black build.
What the proof covers
The digital proof shows trim, bleed, safe margins and the colour conversion we will send to press. Once you approve it, that file is what prints. If the delivered job does not match the approved proof, we reprint it at our cost.
Proofs are flat images, not physical samples. For colour-critical work, order a sample pack first.
